White people bad: the movie. Decent music and cinematography, but very forced and hamfisted "woke" messaging from the creators, which is of course to be expected walking into the theater. The movie is not remotely frightening as the genre would decieve you. Your well-off white friends living in the suburbs and city centers with old Bernie bumper stickers will treat it as the second coming of christ, likely quite vocally, and certain black communities with a chip on their shoulder will enjoy the scenes tailored to them that can only be described as torture porn of white people who obviously 'had it coming'. This is, of course, thinly veiled under the flimsy moral justification of 'this film is supposed to make whites uncomfortable'. All in all, this movie is a banal and predictable reminder of the contemporary sacred cow of Western canon which is the obsession with black victimhood and the demonization of their evil white oppressors.
