While it depicts some facts and some fictions , the timing of this movie is really awesome. When a section of media is trying to bring forth a a narrative that secludes a class of people , this movie provides a revelation of the other. Not sure about Karsan Das but abolisment of Sati and Widow marriage was moved by Iswarchandra Vidyasagar and Rammohan Roy. My question still remains can we try and break the myths of all classes and societies which are a kind of dogmatics ......
