Elly Griffiths is a crafty and prolific writer that can write effortlesly about almost anything. As in the postcript murders, this book is well written and reads well... but unlike the previous book, the narrative goes nowhere.
About a quarter into the reading I felt that the text became repetitive and without any direction. Nevertheless, I just kept reading hoping that somehow, the book would improve. Nope. It didn't. Moreover, at the end, when everything is revealed, I felt that my hopes wee unfounded, because the plot was very weak and unrealistic, and the ending dissapointing.
In short, a well-written but monotone and boring book by a crafty and prolific author.
