It’s worth watching for the scenery and number of good moments, but the human interactions just do not hold up. And the actors all seem about a beat slow delivering their lines. It’s also not clear at all what impact the characters had on the final historical outcome. It’s no Notorious, but it’s not as ludicrous as Vertigo.
