As a long time fan of the series going back to final fantasy 6 (or 3 in North America) I have come away with mixed feelings. Characters are great, but you can sleep walk through nearly every battle, the story’s epic but it suffers through a severe lull midway. Then, you just lose interest. A good game that lacks polish. Don’t expect a masterpiece and you’ll have a good time.
