Although the beginning of the novel was captivating and exciting, the ending was unsatisfying and expected. Personally, I found Ava very annoying and I took Matt's side on most disagreements they had, except for his weird art lol. Ava's need to rescue non-living items really infuriated me for some strange reason. I felt bad for Nell but Sarika and her online dating thing was so pretentious as if she was too good for anyone but herself, although I do understand where she is coming from. Honestly, I was fine with Maud for a while until her favors got irritating. Genevieve being a narcissistic drug dealer came as no surprise because of course there is something wrong with her in the end, so typical. Overall, I just could not stand almost all the characters except Nihal and the other dude and once again, the ending was so cliche. I had high expectations for this book, as I genuinely enjoyed reading "I Owe You One" but I would not recommend this book, sorry.
