It’s so close to being a masterpiece. 1st and 2nd act were brilliant. Lovely character development, amazing cinematography and some superb acting. Then...the 3rd act (spoiler alert). How can Matt do such an amazing job both with the direction, make up and character with Colin Farrels penguin (which was brilliant) and then be so let down / obvious & predictable with Paul Danos riddler?? It was almost painful to watch the unfolding of such an obvious set of story development after such an interesting 1st & 2nd act. All that beside The Batman is a great story, amazingly shot, brilliant work from the key cast and would recommend. 4/5
