This film beautifully depicts the sadness of processing grief and that immediate void in the aftermath. I feel that more importantly though there is a message of how vunerable children are against adults violence, either physically or emotionally. The protagonist here showed how sadly beautiful it is when adults want to protect children, but can’t.
