This movie is beyond terrible! Look carefully at the 5 star reviews. They are completely “ bot” responses coming from right wing engines. The movie is totally unfunny, completely obvious and so so boring. It mocks “ wok ism” and in the hands of any talent could be funny but this guy has no talent. I happened to walk in with a friend thinking it was Borat like stuff. No the core joke is I guess that people who worry if they are racists wear Birkenstocks. The bots will win this review war. No real people are gonna see it.

Okay!! Just watched blue velvet. The instant it began a remember hating it 35 years ago. It has not aged well. ( maybe I haven’t either🤪) It’s got some weird porny bits but who cares. It’s just a film nobody can admit totally sucks. The music blows too. It seemed 8 hrs long.

This is straight up one of the greatest American Films. Lush visuals, wonderfully detailed plot and pulp fiction level dialogue. I wish I could live in 1938 LA and drive a Packard!
