I worked on this show, in the mid nineties. It was the most fun. When we filmed in the canteen we actually ate, again and again and again....put on a lot of weight. I made a lot of friends during that time. The studio was an old converted wine store, I still remember my first episode....Burnside, "we're just nicked a scrote with previous." and my first lines..."He's not here, Guv.." I was in film/tv heaven.

One of the best colonoscopy films I have seen. For me, it felt like the whole drama was filmed using the same camera, after the procedure was finished, possibly with a 5.5mm lens. Respect to the cast and crew, as making a film, any film, is a labour of love and not for the faint hearted so it is easy and mean spirited for anyone to just criticize a piece of work, from the safety of their armchair and keyboard. I just wish everyone's work and art had been filmed differently. Adam Sandler's, exceptional performance was no surprise to me - I haven't seen a comedian yet, who can't nail dramatic roles, to perfection. Go and see it, just remember to take a deep breath before the camera goes in....so to speak.
