Jules Rayne

This is a great film for couples who don't actually want to watch the movie. Madame Web tries so very hard to be so much cooler than it actually is. The plot is pretty predictable and formulaic. As a former medical professional, the depictions of CPR (which is central to the plot) are so bad and poorly used that it's grating every time one of the characters performs it. The whole film tries to set up a story arc by giving you glimpses of the end result, but it never actually shows the heroes achieving it - that's for a presumed sequel film - hopefully one that will never happen given how terrible the writing is on this film. The actors all turn in decent performances, but the quality of the acting is never quite able to overcome the terrible script and pacing of this film.
