Good. I was lost as to why the series introduced Bash and his girlfriend and her son. Up to then, the entire story is about Anne and the direct relationships she had with people who influenced her.
So then we introduce Bash - no direct connection to Anne. And then his girlfriend. And then her son... could it be, because the producers wanted to add some non white folks to the story? To sell it to networks as multi racial?
No other reason that I can see at all.
