A bit too graphically violent, but a very unexpected and interesting story.

The Marvels was great fun - we definitely were not the only ones in the theater laughing. Iman Vellani stole the show somewhat, but mostly it was just a lot of fun and a good storyline that helped fill one awkward gap from prior movies. The only downside is that to best enjoy the movie it helps to have seen at least a few other Marvel shows and movies. Kind of like Star Wars, you can get the gist of what's going on but may miss some nuances. Even as a standalone it will be fun, and if really enjoy can watch some of the related movies and shows.
