The movie is a decent one-time watch with a generally good cast and a storyline that starts off strong. Most of the actors deliver solid performances and manage to keep things interesting initially. However, a major letdown is the casting of the cop — a character supposedly known for 98 encounters. Unfortunately, the actor looks more like a retired bank manager than a gritty law enforcer. His performance lacks the intensity and believability the role demands, and at times comes off unintentionally funny, which undermines the seriousness of his character.
Another drawback is that after the first half, the movie becomes quite predictable — both in terms of plot and character arcs. The twists, if any, are easy to see coming, and the ending feels rushed and formulaic.
Despite these flaws, the film has a few entertaining moments and could work if you're in the mood for a casual watch without high expectations.
