I have never felt so betrayed by an adaptation in my entire life. Worse than David Lynch's Dune, worse than Eragon, this show takes the source material, butchers it, and then tells an entirely different story. I can't even believe this was authorized. If a writer wants to tell their own fantasy story, maybe have writing worth enough of a damn to tell your own fantasy story. And now, I'm finding out that Brandon Sanderson has a role as a producer on this show. Maybe since he finished the series he thinks he can help in bastardizing it. I'm angry, I'm disgusted, I'm disappointed. I want Wheel of Time, not whatever this is, parading under it's name for recognition. Amazon, Amazon, Amazon, don't you dare defile Tolkien's work like this. Jordan did not deserve this.
