A great thoughtful, heartwarming and somewhat innocent look at the strengths of human character.
It may seem somewhat dated by today's standard where everything has to be deconstructed, but that old-fashioned style is it's strength.
I see my Father in the main character, a man strong in his moral compass (imagery shown in the main title intro), someone who has faith in the goodness of humanity.
A good watch for those wanting some optimism and the music is fantastic, especially the acoustic interludes. It is also well shot.
Due South is extremely nostalgic to me for these reasons.
