The Batman was not only a horrible Batman movie it was a horrible movie in general. The pacing was off from the beginning . Poor casting choices . Redundant dialogue that could’ve been cut about 30 or 40 minutes . The costume design was silly looking at best . The plot was predictable and boring . For being the worlds greatest detective he didn’t detect much at all .. Gordon and Alfred did most of the heavy lifting . The whole vengeance nickname was ridiculous . The heavy over acting from Paul Dano‘s Riddler . The only thing the Batman had going for it was its cinematography. I think that’s why it’s had any good reviews at all. People who like this movie are so blinded by the pretty pictures that they can’t seem to see how flat of a movie it actually is .
