Please don't waste your time watching this, I couldn't even sit through half of the film. Unless you're absolutely bored and you have time to kill. What I liked was the outfits and the catchy tunes of the music, but the overall acting wasn't upto the mark. It felt as if the movie was a school play and the plot made no sense.

As someone who likes watching thriller and horror genre movies, Megan was one such movie. The story is about a 9 year old girl named Cady who loses her parents in a car crash and develops an emotional attachment with a robot named Megan. Megan is an intelligent robot with big eyes and blonde hair, and she was built by Cady's aunt to take care of her, be her friend and protect her from physical and emotional harm. Things take a turn when Megan starts taking the protecting part a little too seriously, starts having an opinion of her own and wouldn't listen to commands that she was programmed for. We get to see all the action from the 2nd half of the movie. As much as I enjoyed watching the film, the ending was predictable.

It's a one time watch movie. It isn't horror exactly, but the kind of movie that will creep you out to quite an extent. There aren't any jumpscares in the movie, just 2 kids who are a little too obsessed with their religion and will literally take everything seriously as per their Bible. Some parts of the film are gory, mature audience is advised!
