There's more than one good performance in this and I can't add anything as to how good Sammie is in this performance - but the women actors are particular excellent. There's also more than one theme. As much as it's about the issue of dementia and how it strips a person apart, it's also a fascinating study of greed and altruism. The niece isn't content with having money, she wants all of it and all of the control. She likes to think of herself as a good person but she's careless with the children and an apologist for her terrible son. Some people charge for their services - others give them freely out of love. A damning study of human nature that treads a very delicate line to reveal greed and bad behaviour are not the preserve of any one set or type of people, and that good people aren't perfect. A truly brilliant series that has to be boxsetted.
