Kathryn Heinze

This is one of the best TV series I have watched in the last 40 years. Acting is great, characters are believable and you care about them, as well as the Alaskans that they are trying to support by their news reporting. It is a show that addresses the plight of specifically Native Peoples; it also speaks to what is happening to ingenious women, poor women, and women of color in the Americas. They don’t fit the description of the middle and upper class women that we see reported in the media and are subsequently ignored. If you care any of these issues, this show is “must watch.”
