We’ve been binge watching for weeks ! The cast and setting is like home and family now..Poignant at times; uplifting but also infuriating with some of the family of patients. Speaking of patience, you need some to weather the irritating antics of Nigel Harper, interim administrator..but oh how we love Nurse Meryl; Brigid; Lizzie and her scamp of a father Ken..the resident porter..

Old fashioned movie making ! Engaging characters and fabulous (Oscar worthy) cinematography and editing ! Christian Bale adds another memorable role to his stellar resume; though Matt Damon’s does equally well. Only knock perhaps the negative light they put Italians in.
