The premise was intriguing. You certainly are engaged enough to want to know who killed her. But that’s about all. The first complaint is the dubbing. I think I would have just rather watch it in Spanish, and read the subtitles. The voices sounded odd. They weren’t in sync with the actor’s physical reactions or expressions. The actors reading the lines would read in English, but then use certain words or names in Spanish. The jumping around from the past to the future was awkward. Flashbacks were confusing. The scenery is borderline depressing. Maybe it’s cultural, but even the characters that live lavish lifestyles home’s were depressing to me. Poorly lit. Zero personality. So sterile. And honestly, I was hard pressed to find more than one character likable. The protagonist was supposed to be this sexy, bright, appealing character, and I found him just, “meh”..okay at best. Everyone else was basically hateful, evil, shameful, shallow or boring. Sara, the namesake of the movie, DESERVED to be killed! Hell, WE wanted to kill her do it was hard to care, because she was so unlikable! Movies are movies because they don’t have to really put forth continuity or believability, but so much of the time we were yelling back at the TV, “oh come on”! In conclusion, if you’re bored and out of things to stream than watch. Otherwise, save yourself the agony.
