I love reading this book to my my great-goddaughter Amira. She has always loved fantasy...especially mermaids and princesses...this has both in one book. This is a book Amira wants me to read to her over and over again. There is a great big story really. Based, in part, on ancient African oceanic mythology. Three gifted little girls...living in the sea, each one different from the other. Each one, as the story goes, has been blessed with a special power!! There is something new each time we read it. I highly recommend this book. It is NOT boring!!!
