Game is a brutal and realistic example of Ellie's adult life in a post-apocalyptic hellscape. It's cinematic genius in it's brutality which has gotten a huge emotional reaction out of most players.. some see this as a bad thing, I definitely do not! IP only has itself to build off of to create this emotion and they played all their cards. I love this game.
