It has some good parts, to be sure.
But it also has a lot that it could've done without. Portions of intertwining timelines throughout the story felt a bit extraneous and unnecessary to me, as though they were put into the movie just to make it longer. And I am someone who loves the really long movies. I will sit in a theater for four hours straight and not even notice the time, as long as the movie is engaging. But for the first time ever, I left the theater feeling like the movie I had just watched was too long. Likely because the intertwining timelines keep repeating the same situations, unneededly. This is just my opinion, but I feel like this movie could lose the best part of an hour in running time without losing any of the actual story.
