I'm a Viola Davis fan. This was an awesome autobiography of Viola Davis. A very hard life that she overcome. Great inspiration for those who are living a hard life that you too can live your dreams if you don't give up

This book was an amazing accounting/biography of three separate African/Americans who migrated from the south. Ida Mae, Robert, and George. They ran from Jim Crow only to find the same or worse situation in the North. But, none of them returned to the south. There is always a conflict between, what you are running away from, and what you get is not what you wanted or what you expected.

This was a fast read. Very interesting to portray the life of a latina in Chicago. Very short snippets of the girls life. It was very powerful in a succinct way. Very original.

Awesome read. It was slow at first, but when it picked up it got better. I enjoyed the mystery that was used. It made the book exciting as you continued to read. Great twists and turns. I also loved the fact that Stacy is a person in the justice system. So, there was alot of legal aspects in the book.

Caste was an awesome book. Eye opening, Many things brought to my attention that I had no awareness of. It is a slow read though. Awesome connection between Nazi, segregation, and the caste system in India.
