This movie TRIES to be real by keeping itself apart from the fancy action packed spy thriller movies, but unfortunately, in doing so, it fails miserably for various reasons:
1. Score is pathetic(unnecessarily intensified many times).
2. Too many loop holes. One such example is of Ali Fazal's character, an R&AW official/officer, who, in his office has access to every top secret document of the agency and he makes copies of these documents and just easily walks through with these copies without any security check.
3. At least 20-30 minutes could have been trimmed.
4. Unnecessary woke propaganda i.e. LGBTQ+
5. Performances were also average despite having likes of Tabu, Ali Fazal & Ashish Vidyarthi. Wamiqa Gabbi was good though.
6. Moreover, it rather looks like a revenge story of an R&AW official/officer (played by Tabu) than a spy thriller.
