I'm devastated by this game. Absolutely toothless through and through. All bark and no bite. BioWare removed everything that made Thedas compelling, difficult, or nuanced besides Solas, and there isn't hardly enough of him to make up for it. The writing has always been my favorite part (let's face it, combat has never been DA's strong suit or been particularly challenging), and the quality of writing in this game I can only describe as horrific. It's like opening an Ursula Le Guin book and getting Harry Potter.
