Saw this in 1971 and loved it. Obviously a bit dated now but still like it, nostalgicly. Burton is great, despite his terrible east end accent and Ian mcshane just shines. One or two slightly wooden performances but definitely worth a watch.

A programme that endorses men competing against women in sport is not for me. It's been getting quite stale recently and this is the final straw. Poor tv show.
