Barely adequate fiction riddled with narcissism.
Reads like a drama series which is sparingly engaging but at the same time it's clear this is written by a pretentious author who has taken her fair share of creative liberties and passed them off as factual recounts of her patients psychological struggles. The writing is laced with both the author's narcissism and her insecurities to the point where I had to put the book down more than once just to stop myself from cringing any further. The worst part? The irony of all this is clearly lost on this self-proclaimed "expert" therapist lol.
