Really disappointed this season!! There are plot lines that have huge potential that the writers seem to be stumbling with and instead are focusing on slapstick, ridiculous, and just plain silly stories (NewSoMimico). The characters of Higgins and Ruth (and everything associated with them) need to be purged right away. Go back to emphasizing William's detection of crime using his early 20th century CSI methods and equipment inventions. Dig deeper into the stories surrounding Violet and her seedy husband, Watts' dilemma, and social issues of the time in Toronto. There's so much potential for writers to capture an audience who love a mystery set in another age in history but not the graphic violence and vulgarity of today's modern crime drama. Seriously, I hope a 15th season proves more entertaining than this one has been.
