Keri Russell’s haggard appearance and lack of suitable makeup make her seem like she’s totally unqualified for her dignified post. She charges from room to room trying to appear in control of what I don’t know but seems totally inept. Rufus Sewell is 1000 times better than she is. Poor thing she’s trying g so hard and it comes off so fake. Is this supposed to be what actually goes on in embassies particularly with our closest ally ? Seems far fetched. The British foreign secretary is another great character, why he would waste his time with her is implausible I’m watching but really disappointed.
