Being an ardent fan of Alia Bhatt from her second film, I was awaiting this movie since it's first preview, but I can't help but be disappointed at how disastrous the movie was. The plot, dialogues, delivery, everything was so outdated and could be skipped easily. Even AB's delivery of a few dialogues were unintentionally funny. Although, I don't doubt her as a performer coz she does stand out in a few scenes as a strong performer, but she was thoroughly overshadowed by Sanju's most heartfelt performance. His eyes had another story to tell altogether. Aditya's role could be dismissed as a blink and miss as he didn't offer much to the story and was underutilized. Makarand's performance was also not very effective for the overall plot. Jisshu does try his best to portray his role as the script demands but when the script itself was the weakest point, even the best of performers cannot save the film. One takeaway could be the great background score but that can't be the saving grace for this movie. Even songs had little to no effect as they were misplaced and the last song in the movie could just be skipped and it still wouldn't affect the story. Overall, this movie was very painful to watch and you wouldn't miss anything extraordinary if you skipped it. Even great performances by the lead and side actors together couldn't save the film from being a disappointment. 1/5
