House of Incest is a non-story trying to live off of shock value which gets excessively annoying. They managed to make every main character a villain by making every single plot point a power struggle. It never once appeals to the truth that permeates our lives, that life is not about power, but virtue. This series only accomplishes to tell if many scenarios displaying the worst aspects of animal nature in meaningless order and never draws it to a sort of meaningful conclusion. In truth, this series is the perfect picture of all that is wrong with our society today. Endless search for hedonistic pleasure, lack of respect for one's role in society to serve their own shortsighted desires, vainly throwing away ancient wisdom in order to avoid the shame of being a perpetual adolescent, and the dehuminization of your enemies. It could have been a great story like GOT but it took all of the worst parts of GOT (excessive goriness and sexual context) and amplified them x4 and tried to leverage the entire story off of it. The reason GOT is a great story is because it tells the sad truth that virtue is preyed upon by sin and endlessly persecuted, but sin tears its own house down while virtue is the only thing that is capable of building a home. It told how the virtuous can get lost in hell when they seek revenge and how they can escape. It told how the sinful can repent and reach redemption. It told how death itself can be defeated through forgiveness and love for the sinful, even those who have regularly persecuted you. It told how the humble of heart are the ones that we need to lead us. It taught that how you handle tragedy defines you and how that can make you the best version of yourself or the worst. House of Incest attempts to mock medieval European history whole missing the most importent part, how we got out of that hell. It misses all of what made GOT great. It is Carrot Top level of shock value. It left no characters at all to be cheered for and inspired nothing good.
