Everyone should read the book. I was teary through most part of the book and the fact that all of it is true is worse, the fact that this book is the truth of so many people. The depictions in the book all flash in front of your eyes as though you were there to witness them, but one can only imagine the pain the Pandits have been through. The timeline jumps in the book is a feature that I loved. The author takes you through his whole life in the entirety of the book. I hope Kashmiri pandits get to return to their homeland sson. I hope people acknowledge their pain and suffering. I hope their community's name appears more in the media and not just to counterpart some Muslim politician but for addressing the pandits and the betterment of their situation.
