They make it so hard to root for the main characters, both Beth Ann & Alma made their situations so much worse. I did feel sympathy for Beth Ann in the end however as I was watching the series I felt like turning the show off multiple times because some scenes are infuriating. I don’t know what’s with the racist ‘jokes’ it’s just unnecessary. This show does not empower women or show a realistic point of view, it’s just for entertainment purposes. I will give credit where it is due this show is very addictive and the acting is brilliant
