Anyone who thought this movie dragged or was too slow was not able to truly understand the film. This was meant to feel in real time so that we could comprehend what it means to be in on the inside workings of the Vatican and the ages-old process of selecting a new pope. The acting, writing and direction were all superb and allowed us a window into a world of which I knew nothing. So beautifully done and I’m sorry it didn’t win the Oscar this year.
