Terrible. I was so disappointed in this. As a child, I loved the book and had high hopes of an animated version. My kids did too. I feel like my childhood memories of reading Roald Dahl have been violated by watching this. The characters were completely changed, as was the plot. The Twits are supposed to detest each other, and this was sidelined in the quest for shoehorning in characters not in the book and a happy ending. Roald Dahl books are supposed to be dark and leave you thinking. The only thing I was thinking was "when does this end", and that was halfway through the movie. Awful.

Loved every second. Great blend of old and new musical numbers and great humour.
