I was inspired to write after hearing Jessica Simpson's "miracle" about her Mom. I am so happy to hear her Mom has been such a fighter.and that Jessica has been able to see the blessings her and her family continue to receive every day. My granddaughter, Kaitlyn at the age of 8 was diagnosed with DIPG. I don't ever remember asking why this would happen to our family,instead I was thankful Kaitlyn was old enough to spell words so when she could no longer speak, she was able to write on her whiteboard to communicate with us. When she could no longer hold the marker in her hand she was able to point to letters on her alphabet board her brother made for her. Everyday I was with her before her passing at age 8 was able to share a laugh or a smile. Thank you Jessica Simpson for sharing your story.
