(SPOILER)
I might be over the top with my reaction but as someone who was raised by my grandparents this really touched me from the bickering, nagging, and fun times. From his main priority of inheriting her grandmas assets to just wanting to spend time with her to make her less lonely. The movie also included such deep meanings to the pomegranate, to grandmas sacrifice of her favorite food for her sons, and many more. But above anything else the pacing, the cinematography, the music/instrumentals, the atmosphere it created was all outstanding. During the entire movie I felt I was part of the characters development since it was the first time he and his grandmother bonded, so I also went to the process of the difficulty and the bittersweet ending. Truly one of my fave this 2024.
