I became an Army in 2017 since DNA's release. This book is really special to me because this book is one of the things that shaped me on what I am today.
I do have the book but I was reluctant to read it because I know that I will cry once I began reading the sentences. So, I decided to listen to the audiobook version. But, that didn't also prevent me from crying. I still cried.
The thing that made me continue to listen to the audiobook even though it is 11 hours 18 minutes and 45 seconds long is that the emotions and the story this book is trying to convey is so passionate and heartstopping.
The chapter 1and 2 were the most unexpected part for me. (NOT A SPOILER BUT KINDA) Especially the part of the production of O!RUL82 and Dark & Wild album. Those were the times where BTS is struggling to rise up in the industry. My emotions were really all over the place as I felt anger and sadness resonate all over me.
The past is really so hard for them. And because of the detailed and ordered narration, I felt their emotions. All the pain, struggles, sufferings, and even their burning passion for music and hiphop to them practicing non-stop in their cramped studio as well as for Suga to work part-time jobs. I also felt happiness and hope as the narration began on the production of 'The Most Beautiful Moment in Life' Pt. 1 as well as them working together and uplifting each others weakness nurturing it to become their strength despite their differences.
It made me also wonder how destiny and time works. Reading this book made me realize that destiny's cruelty will soon be replaced by goodness and success. But how? By working hard and persevering.
This book is really good as it captured my emotions and made me reflect of what I have achieved so far.
I really thank God for letting me meet them.
I thank BTS for letting us (ARMY) bring into their past even though it's too hard for them to talk about their memories of the past. I would like to thank them for their perseverance, hardwork, and passion for continuing their music.
To the author of this book who worked with BTS, thank you for being one of the people who let us know their experiences. Thank you for your skills and dedication.
LESSON: Don't give up and continue to pursue your dreams. No matter how hard it is, God, destiny, and time will always find you.
