Fantastic acting!! As a horror buff, I have always been open to watching films before my time and this was a gem. At 36 years of age, I have watched all of the classics and this one in particular stands out because Anthony Hopkins is so believable! The film gives you time to get to know the different characters and was done so well that I was surprised with the ending. Ventriloquists have always frightened me and especially so because I grew up with R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps books. There is something about inanimate objects with a life of their own that delivers pure terror to the audience. Watching Hopkins character questioning his own sanity was realistic and fun to watch. The film holds up hands down!!
