I really enjoyed the movie. It had a good plot, there was some above-average character development, there were all the cringy moments that a society adjusting to something new would likely go through. A few problems though.
1. If zombies had super strength, why didn't they manage to break through the wall before scientists had the breakthrough that led them to create the Z-band?
2. Why is it that it took 50 years for zombies to be welcomed into society? You'd think SOMEONE would realize this was just like segregating blacks from white. I mean, stop them from eating brains, take away their abilities, and you have pale, green-haired humans.
3. Why did Bucky accept the zombies after they helped in the cheer tournament? If he places such importance on cheer, he should seek help. It's not healthy to care so much about one thing that you don't care about anything else, that you'd get over deeply ingrained prejudices because of that ONE THING. Ditto for the REST OF THE SCHOOL, INCULDING THE FACULTY, WHO SHOULDN'T CARE THAT MUCH ABOUT FOOTBALL!!!!
4. Can someone give Zoey more screen time in the sequel? She had about five minutes of screen time, the ACEYS had the same amount, and they're clearly backup characters.
