I loved just about everything. A very well written story that had many unexpected turns and kept me engaged the entire time. Graphics were phenomenal, as were the sound effects. The cut scenes were long but I don't mind. I love good and long campaigns. The cut scenes give you a chance to get a beer (or whatever) during a break in the action. Some people are complaining about the gameplay. There is nothing wrong with it. It doesn't feel like your typical FPS because it isn't your typical FPS! Sure, there is a lot of stealth, but you can choose to do it or you can go guns blazing. I did a lot of both. People are complaining about Joel's character. Yes he changed. But doesn't every man that becomes responsible for a little girl? I know I did. It's part of the story and that's how they chose to portray him. Fine. Druckman and team did a fantastic job. It was well worth the wait! And I'm hoping for a part III. If I could give any constructive criticism, it would be the monotonous and never ending search for alcohol and bandaged and scissors and explosives and ammo could have been reduced. I get it. It's realistic. Sort of. Definitely keep it, but simplify it please.
It doesn't add much to the game. Besides that, this game was fantastic and I would highly recommend this to just about everyone.
