It's a paid beta.
The pros:
- More alt friendly
- The story is good
- Very welcomed changes for transmog enthusiasts
- Shared currency is awesome
The cons:
- More bugged than Shadowlands
- The new content called "dvelves" is just Torghast but in caves with
one single follower and no fun abilities to pick up.
- Open world design is bad but doesn't matter because everything is
made for Dragon/Sky Riding so you won't see it anyways.
- Most classes aren't fun and everything is designed towards weakaura
tracking. Legion and BFA classes were way more enjoyable even with
their flaws and lack of talent options.
- M+ first season dungeons are probably the worst picks they ever had.
- PvP is still a dead content that hasn't gotten any love.
- 10 player mythic raids still aren't a thing.
- The new added race is boring? like we have so many dwarfes
already? Can't we make one dwarf race and let people choose their
dwarf origin at the barber, instead of making a race for every origin?
- Little to no new cosmetics and customizations for Dracthyr.
- Race/Class combinations are still way too limited.
- New 20th anniversary event is an absolute mess with even more bugs
and corporate greed.
My best advice from a raider, m+ and transmog enthusiast:
Play through the story as far as it gets and enjoy the trip in your own pace. Setting foot into any endgame content as of right now feels like a complete waste of time and I advice you to play something else instead, after finishing the story.
