No direction, too many pregnant pauses, fake deep personalities, and no build or climax! Ellie’s character annoyed me and I was confused by what Paul wanted. It was so slow and uncomfortable. And not to mention that this movie is meant to be set 2020 but acts and dressed like it’s 2013. The writer for this movie seems seriously out of touch with the youth of today and while it could’ve been a sort of slow burn heart warming story, it just felt dull and awkward.
