Beautiful sets and imagery but it's quite literally unwatchable. What's funny is it made me realize that the 1st movie was a musical as well, but I never realized it because it intertwines into the plot so seemlessly. This one is so clunky and songs completely pause the storyline. This makes all of the actual story feel rushed while movie feels like a crawl as a whole. It was also misleading as you come in feeling like it's going to be a grand adventure of Wonkas beginnings but the story takes place in one area the entire time and it's all just so dull. I really wanted to like this movie but like I said before it's very difficult making it through

I feel like I was actually scammed with this game. I can't believe its worse than Diablo 3, but it is. It felt so promising i fell for the pre-order AGAIN. Fool me once shame on Blizzard, fool me twice shame on me. It's my own fault. Don't buy this, skip this one.... and most likely all future ones...

Cleary Wes Anderson has come to the point where he thinks he can rest on his laurels. This movie feels like he just ticked all the Wes Anderson trope boxes. Vivid colored sets, stellar cast, lots of portrait framing, ect. However he forgot he's supposed to write a plot and develop characters. Your characters aren't quirky when they have no arch's or any reason to empathize with them Wes.
