I smell..agenda plots. We are firmly in the age of tearing down any strong male leads so the women can be up front and in charge. If you are into specific narratives being pushed, then this is the show for you. There's no real character development and sometimes it's hard to keep up with what the main plot is supposed to be. I preferred the first Castlevania, that was good writing. I don't know what this is.
