I really can't give this a 10/10, as I want to see it after so I'm not biased, but it gives you the emotions of a 10/10 if you get what I mean.
The themes were great and the realization at the end that sets up the second part of the film is a very important direction that I think a lot of people overlook.
Cameos and easter eggs were nice and some of them were obvious enough for casual fans to spot which I think gives a bigger feeling of community in a way.
The animation was once again top-tier. The visual communication between Gwen's world literally melting around her, and the tines and colors were amazing
A Rant for some of the bad reviews:
Reading some of the bad reviews made me realize that some people are not mentally equipped to know a good movie when they see one.
Most people are complaining about the "incomplete story" where it was clear from the film's announcement (not even the trailer) that this was a two-part movie.
It's sad that people think that the "villain" has to be the central antagonist/conflict in a superhero movie and completely ignore the themes of impostor syndrome, family dynamics, interpersonal relationships, etc. Spot's personally I like Spot's character and I somewhat understand why there are some concerns about his screen time, but as stated before, this is a two-part movie, and you're supposed to treat it as such. The Spot was simply a catalyst for the real problems that all of the characters have to address.
I'm not even surprised, as this is Google reviews, but my goodness, some people simply don't have the mental capacity.
