Somehow every character in this movie manages to be irritating. I didn’t buy into Gray and Fritz’s sudden love. Why would she immediately jump into a relationship with someone who respects her so little that he helped her fiance cheat on her and then helped him cover up the love child that resulted from that infidelity? He never felt compelled to tell her about any of it and then when she found out about the other woman and their child Fritz further disrespected her with lies about the timeline of events to cover for the dead cheater, yet Gray never holds him accountable for it. Many scenes are corny, weird, and/or unnatural. Much of the plot is predictable. Predictability can be fine if the journey is pleasant, but this movie is too disjointed and messy to enjoy seeing the characters get where you know they’re going.
